We all know and feel with every fiber of our being that we live in a time of great urgency for transformation and radical renewal, and partial solutions won't work.
In every moment of civilizational crisis, the only viable response has been evolving the very core of what it means to be human.
The only way we can evolve what is human and articulate a new vision for humanity is by weaving together the best validated insights across all domains of human knowledge, from the external sciences (physics, biology, mathematics) to the internal sciences (philosophy, religion, psychology), to form the most true and integrated understanding of what it means to be human and how we ought to live.
Throughout history, this has always been the job of mystery schools: to articulate a new vision of humanity that generates the best possible future for our children to live in. This new vision is written and shared as a New Story of Value, a new understanding of what is most valuable.

A Moment to Stand for the Future of Humanity
Humanity is poised between utopia and dystopia. We are facing the potential death of humanity, or the potential death of our humanity on multiple fronts.
Right now, there are global threats of a race for artificial general intelligence without ethical guidelines, over 120 armed conflicts around the world, a migration crisis as hundreds of millions of people are being displaced from their homes, resource scarcity, chemical warfare being more and more available to rogue non state actors, and we are degrading the very biosphere that gives us life, making Earth less and less habitable for human beings each year.
We call this stack of global existential risks "The Second Shock of Existence."
The First Shock of Existence happened when Homo Erectus (our ancestors) living on the savannah plains had the jolting realization that their individual life would eventually come to an end. The conscious perception of our individual finitude leaped humanity's evolution forward and birthed incredible creativity, advancements in communication, and was responsible for the rise of human culture and civilization.
The First Shock of Existence triggered our evolution from Homo Erectus into Homo Sapien.
But now we face the Second Shock of Existence, which is when Homo Sapiens (you and I today) have the jolting realization of the potential death of humanity, a global extinction event, or in a second form, the death of our humanity — we survive, but live in a completely inhumane world.
Humanity is facing off with our potential extinction, but we are not hopeless.
Just like the First Shock of Existence, the Second Shock of Existence is demanding that we once again evolve what it means to be human. Homo Sapiens must take the next step.
This is the path from Homo Sapien to Homo Amor.
